We are in zone 6-8 here in the Northwest. And here, daylillies do really well. One in particular is spectactular - pushing out solid dozens of blooms every month for a good 6-7 months of the year. That variety is 'Stella D'Oro'. But I understand they don't do nearly as well in other parts of the country. I guess we're just lucky!
