Although it has not yet been scientifically proved, eating food free of chemicals has got to be an option to seriously consider.Organic food are now more easily obtainable through many different outlets. Many farmers sell organic fruit and vegetables. By doing a search on the Internet you will immediately be able to find suppliers of many different types of organic food in many different countries. Supermarkets sell organic fruit and vegetables and other organic produce.

In my area right now - late September and until frost - is a great time to transplant strawberry plants. Anyone who has any strawberry plants at all will almost always have lots and lots of daughter plants surrounding the original ones. All you do is cut the runners, and gently pull them up roots and all, and move them to their new location.

Stephen, there is certainly nothing wrong with you inquiring about this here, but for genuine experts you should probably inquire within the agricultural university system. I'm merely a student of gardening myself, and still learning what works best in my own environment.

Good luck.
